“Forest Reptiles” video podcast by David Dewsbury
This is an informative video, approximately seven minutes, about reptiles found living in the Forest of Dean. Produced and narrated by David Dewsbury, the Project Leader for Foresters’ Forest, National Lottery Heritage funded Reptiles project.
The Forest is an important area for reptiles because it has all four common species – slow worm, adder, common lizard and grass snake. These animals have all but disappeared in most areas of the country because of changes to agricultural practices and other development such as housing, industry and associated infrastructure.
